Coromandel International Ltd (CIL) has one of their SSP fertilizer production units at Ranipet, Tamil Nadu. They propose to install a new scrubbing system for their 400 TPD SSP plant and plan to increase the capacity to 800 TPD capacity. They plan to revamp existing scrubbing system to include 4th stage and make it suitable for 800 TPD. They require details design and drawing of overall system for this revamping including P & I diagram, process flow diagram, plant layout, specification of bought out equipment, electrical load list & single line diagram, equipment fabrication drawing, civil & structural drawings.
Scope
Scope of work will be to carry out design & detail engineering for revamping existing 3 stage scrubbing system to 4 stage system suitable for 800 TPD SSP capacity. Design & detail engineering will be done only for 4th stage. Existing 3 stages will only be evaluated for performance & pressure drop so that 4th stage can be added and scrubbing system becomes suitable for 800 TPD capacity. Following will be the work performed for provision of 4th stage scrubber:
Basic engineering
- Details design and drawing of overall system including P & I diagram, Process flow diagram, plant layout, sizing of equipment etc.
Fabricated Items
- Preparation of engineering specification sheets and engineering drawings.
- Review vendor data prepared by the selected vendors and incorporate the vendor data in appropriate drawings.
Bought Out items
- Preparation of engineering specification sheets suitable for procurement
- Review vendor data prepared by the selected vendors and incorporate the vendor data in appropriate drawings.
Piping
- Preparation of general arrangement drawings, isometrics
- Material take-off, valve schedules
- Pipe support drawings as required
Electrical
- Electrical load list
- Electrical Single Line diagram
Instrumentation
- Instrument List and specification for instruments.
Civil and structural engineering
- Civil foundations drawings for fabricated and bought out equipment
- Platform & Structural Drawings as may be required for equipment
Procurement & Expediting Assistance
- Procurement Assistance, follow-up with vendor & expediting from our Mumbai office is included in our scope. However, any visits to vendor shop is not included in our scope.
Site Visit and Commissioning Services
- 5 no. of visits to site, for discussions/meetings/review/inspection at plant site has been included in our scope. Travel, local conveyance, lodging & boarding for these visits are included in our scope.
- 10 days assistance during commissioning has been considered in our scope. Travel cost for this visit is included in our quoted price. However, lodging & boarding and local conveyance at site is not included in our price. The same has to be provided by Owner.
- Any visits beyond specified number above, if requested by Owner, will be on chargeable basis.
